We kicked off May with a fun Kentucky Derby party with friends. The guys were pretty funny trying to perfect their bow ties, we had to document it.
We had a pretty good time that night!
We found a new favorite BBQ place down in Fairhope called Texarbama and enjoy going there whenever we have time to make it down there, as it is the closest thing we have found to Texas BBQ. The boys love getting the Dublin rootbeer every time we go.At Bidding of the Bulls this year, we bid on the kids teacher features where they get to go have a fun day with their teacher and miss school for an afternoon. Ryan got to pick a friend and to go with he and Mrs. Prater to the bowling and have lunch. Apparently, Ryan has turned into a pretty good bowler according to his teacher!
He and his buddy, Caleb having a fun time!
Mrs. Prater and the kids
Ryan with the other 4th and 5th graders. We missed the 2nd/3rd grade day due to the wedding in Texas, so the older kids let Ryan and his crew crash their day! He loved getting to go with this group.

Bradley's teacher feature was spending the day at the Fort Container Park having lunch with his teacher and his buddies.
Ryan is on the Broadcast team at school and they got to take a field trip to a local new station to see the inner workings of a newscast. They also made a stop to McDonalds for lunch, which was apparently the highlight of the day.
Ryan learned quite a bit and thought it was so cool seeing the green screen and teleprompters and newscasters working.
Charlie had his preschool graduation at SFUMC.
Sweet boy praying before it started.
So grown up!
Accepting his diploma trying to find me for a picture.
So glad we got this in, if we only knew what the next year was going to hold and that he wouldn't get his actual preschool graduation due to Coronavirus. Keeping him back a year will ultimately be the best decision we have made for him thus far!
His sweet friend, Kasey Jo!
Enjoying some cake while showing off his artwork from the year.
Mrs. Elizabeth was such a wonderful teacher for him. We really enjoyed having her and he learned so much!
My baby
He hates taking pics, can't ya tell?!?
Could not love this anymore!
A few pieces from the year as well as this cute portrait of him!
Pre-K 4 class of 2019
For Mother's Day, I received this from Bradley.
Poker became a huge hit around our house for a while. Charlie was especially obsessed because he loves winning chips, so he would always make the others play with him!
B had a special visit from our friend, Mr. Owen and the Coast Guard. His daughter, Sydney, was in B's class, so they got to see him land in the field at the school and learn about what he does!
We celebrated Mother's Day at The Ruby Slipper, which is one of Charlie's favorite restaurants to frequent.
Thankful for this family of mine!
Wrapping up the season with his fellow Boca teammates!
He was pretty pumped about getting his first medal. Although, he would have preferred a trophy.
Again, not having the picture taken!
End of school year party for these buds!
Sarah and Kristen came to visit, so we had a long weekend down near Rosemary Beach. Unfortunately, Kristen ended yp having to fly home due to an illness. We really missed her, but still made the most of the time!
Hard to beat this view, especially with no kids in tow!
Had an amazing rooftop dinner at Pescado in Rosemary!
Love her!!!
Seriously, the best kindergarten class and teacher we could've asked for!
We rounded out the school year with Kinder graduation for Bradley.
Kindergarten Class of 2019
They sang some really sweet songs
Proud of this guy right here.
Self portrait :)
Adore this sweet boy of mine.
His best buddy, Barrett
Thankful for her and everything she taught him but more importantly, how she loved on him this year.Last Day of school. Ryan got snocones on the playground, so you better believe the other two were going to partake in the festivities.
Ryan and Mrs. Prater. We had such a wonderful year with her!
School year 2019-2020 in the books!
End of Year Awards for Ryan. Straight A's and the highest achievement in Reading. He also received the Governor's High Fitness Award which only a few kids in each grade achieve each year. He was probably the most proud of that award!
Pretty proud of it!!
Last Day of school for these two.
Crazy to see how much they've grown and how different they look in just 9 months.
Well, that's a wrap. As much as I hate to say it, I think the blog may be coming to an end. It's gotten so hard to keep up with and my goal was always to just document everything through preschool for each of the boys which is why I made sure to do this last post. I am more than likely going to switch to photobooks and do a few each year as they are much less time consuming! Thanks for following along and we will be sure to still post pics on social media!
