BLM

Our lil boy has a full name now. We finally decided on a middle name and his official name will be Bradley Luke Mock. I had my 28 week appointment about a month ago and everything has been looking really good so far. We had an ultrasound and his head was measuring 31 weeks 1 day (no surprise after Ryan) and I think on average he was measuring about 10-11 days ahead and right at 3 lbs. which is actually slightly smaller than what Ryan was measuring at this point. I have another ultrasound this week, so I'll be anxious to see where he stands!

He is definitely an active lil fellow. I don't remember Ryan being this active. he just moves all the time and whenever I put my hand on my belly he will kick. It's actually kind of nice to have the reassurance. One thing that makes me laugh is whenever I set my phone, remote, IPad, you name it, on my belly, he just goes wild and kicks the you know what out of it. I think it's funny, maybe it makes him mad, who knows! He even wakes me up at night with his kicks. I have been feeling really good and other than a little swelling here and there and some heartburn every so often, I can't really complain.

My sweet mom hosted the cutest Sprinkle Shower for me and Bradley last weekend. It was so much fun to celebrate our newest addition with my closest friends and family (except for my two preggo best friends who live elsewhere, they were definitely missed!). My mom used what will be the nursery theme and colors to decorate for the shower, and I must say, she outdid herself.
My mom has become a pro at diaper cakes!

All of my favorite foods, especially the Chicken Salad from French House (I think I could eat this everyday!)

It was such a fun day and we got so many cute gifts for Bradley. Now, if we could just get started on putting the nursery together we could be ready for this lil guy to arrive. Hard to believe it's only 7-8 weeks away considering our house is just starting to get put back together from the re-model (which a whole other post for another day!). When I got home that evening, Wes unloaded all of the gifts into our dining room, and Ryan was so good about everything. He kept saying how all of these presents are for Bradley and was just so excited about it. When people have come over this past week, he immediately takes them in there to show them Bradley's things, especially the over sized elephant. Let's hope this trend continues once he's actually here and he is just as excited! We can't wait to meet you sweet boy!!
