Weekend Update

We've had a busy past few days preparing for Christmas and Ryan's arrival. The baby furniture came in this past week, so we went to pick it up and then I sat around and watched Wes put it together. All in all, it wasn't too much work since two of the three pieces were already put together, but we still managed to spend a good 3 hours unpacking it and setting it up, it made a huge mess. Now that the furniture is in, I can start to decorate the room and hang stuff up! The theme is Pirates and surprisingly, there is a ton of Pirate stuff out there for nurseries :) Here are some pics of the furniture - we will update more once its complete and the rocker comes in.

We also finished decorating the house and getting the Christmas lights put up. With the weather being so gross and damp lately, Wes wasn't able to put the lights up outside since the roof was so wet. Considering how much he hates heights, I consider hanging the Christmas lights each year a huge feat. Here he is in action, my very own Clark Griswold...

Today, I am 24 weeks and feeling much better than I was over the past few weeks. We had a few hiccups over the Thanksgiving break, full of outpatient procedures, a trip to the Hospital during the A&M football game after Thanksgiving dinner, and a few days of bed rest, but hopefully that is all behind us and the little wiggler will stay put a few more months. He is moving a ton now, so much I can see my stomach rolling as he squirms about. Wes can feel him kick now, which has been a lot of fun for him. I am getting bigger by the hour, or so it feels, you can be the judge.

Now, we just need to get moving on our Christmas shopping!!!
