2 week update

Well, it has been two weeks since we have had the little man at home (but has felt like much longer!!). I don't think I know the difference between night and day anymore since he requires around the clock attention and maintenance!! We took Ryan to the doctor on Friday for his 2 week check up and here were his stats:

Height - 22 1/2 inches (97th percentile)
Weight - 10 lbs (75-90th percentile)
Head - 15 1/2 inches (50-75th percentile)

Other than going potty ALL over the scale as soon as his diaper was off, the doc said he looked great! Some other things the little guy has been up to include:

* Eating every 3 hours - we usually have to wake him up to eat, but as soon as he's awake, he acts like he has been starved for days and just goes crazy shaking his head uncontrollably from side to side with his mouth wide open
* He likes to purr like a cat and whimper like a dog when he eats
* When we lay him on our chest he will pull his head up a good 3 or 4 inches and will scoot his way up our body
* He's sleeping in our room in his little bassinet, but we are going to start working on some crib time soon
* When he gets upset he arches his back and starts throwing right hooks and punches that usually takes two people to control him
* When he first falls alseep after eating he goes through a series of faces - from smiling to frowning, to pouting, to his Elvis face
* We're working on keeping him up more during the day because inevitably he loves to be awake around midnight for a good hour or two, which doesn't quite work with our schedule!

We are having so much fun with him and think he has changed so much from when we brought him home. Here are a few pics of his first two weeks!
