Fun Friday!

Yesterday, Wes and I both did not have work, so we took advantage of the day by going to look at tile and granite for our bathroom remodel, then decided to head to Memorial Park for a jog since the weather was gorgeous. Before we started jogging, we decided to go try the swings with Ryan. Now, he is very skeptical of new things and anything that might be the least be scary. So we did not have high expectations for this new endeavor. When we first placed him in the swing, he was very timid and his whole body was tensed up. You could tell he was looking at us for affirmation.

He was watching at the little 2 year old girl next to him, who was swinging very high, and you could tell he was intrigued but also seemed nervous for her! We started off slow, but after just a few short minutes, he was LOVING it. Wes got him going at a decent pace and he was having such a good time. Not sure why we haven't done this with him before! He was just giggling away and enjoying the breeze in his face.

Looks like we will have to get one of these at home, or just take him to the park more often :) We finished off the day with a nice dinner at Goode Co. Seafood with Wes' family for a little going away dinner for his brother, Jon, who is moving to Florida this weekend for work!
