Meet the Mocks: 2 months

2 months - CJM

This little cutie turned two months on Sunday. Charlie is such a sweet little baby, I am really loving this phase this time around. His older brothers were not so easy at this point which made it very hard to stop and enjoy the time between all the screaming and crying. They are awesome now, but man it was a tough first few months with each of them (who am I kidding, B is still tough!!)

He really has the best demeanor and is so content most of the time. He eats, lies around in his bouncer for sometimes up to an hour or more, likes to be held or kick around on the floor, goes to sleep, and repeats it all over again. He loves to look around and really has started smiling and cooing a ton. His favorite is to stare at our large picture above the couch, it makes him very happy! Here are a few pics of him staring up at the picture!

He also really loves his bath. He is usually awake from about 6 pm until bedtime which is right now at 8:30 pm. So after about two hours, he is tired and just not having it, but the bath instantly calms him down. He loves his little Bloomin Bath

Bradley begs to hold him multiple times a day, so I caught him on a calm moment and let him hold Charlie. Of course after a few minutes, I wanted to pick him back up, but he wasn't having it and got really angry beating his hand on the couch insisting on giving Charlie back to him. He was really sweet patting his hand on Charlie's tummy.

He also loves to sleep in our arms, if only we would let him nap all the time while being held....

CoCo finally got to spend a little time with him this month as well, as she is usually helping out with the big boys while I take care of Charlie when she is over.

He has had a really good month. His schedule is still about 3 hours between feedings during the day and then in the evening he usually eats every two hours from about 4-8:30 when he goes to bed. He take a short nap in the morning, usually gets one good long nap in during the day around lunch time for about 2-3 hours, and then 1-2 more short naps in the afternoon. His nighttime sleep has been pretty good. He goes to bed by 8:30 pm and usually never wakes up before 2:30 and sometimes will sleep until 5 am before waking up, and then goes back to bed until 7 or 8 am. He's a pretty quick nurser which helps, too.

I took him to the doctor on Monday for his two month check-up and 3 vaccines :( He bawled and screamed, but seemed fine by the time we got home. His stats were:

Weight - 12lb 10oz (67%)

Height - 24.75 in. (93%)

Head - 15.75 in. (48%)

Still right in the middle of his two big brothers. Although he still seems the smallest to me.... I made a collage comparison of the three boys at two months.

Yup, they're brothers! Funny how I think Charlie such a mix of the two of them, yet B and Ryan don't look much alike. Here are the rest of the pics from his 2 month photo shoot.
