Sweet Home, College Station

This past weekend, Wes and I traveled to College Station (sans Ryan) for two of our best friend's wedding, Jill and Matt. On our way up there we were discussing how we hadn't visited CS since last September, by far the longest we had ever gone without going up there! It's just amazing how fast time flies when you have a little one around.

We kicked off the afternoon by heading up to Northgate for a few games of pool at the Dixie Chicken. We then went and met up with our good friend, Kristen, and her boyfriend Jeff at La Bodega for some Mexican Martini Shakers and queso, yummm!!
Afterwards, we went to check-in at our cottage. This place was so neat. It was a four bedroom cottage in the Traditions neighborhood, on the gold course. Each room was like a hotel room but then there was shared living space in the rest of house. I can't believe I didn't take any pics :( I just wish we had more time to hang out there!
We then headed to the rehearsal in Bryan. Me and the beautiful bride-to-be.
 Me and the Hubs.
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Benjamin Knox Gallery in College Station, and could not have been a more perfect venue. The food was catered by On the Border and there was lots of yummy Sangria to go around. They played a cute slideshow and pretty much everyone in the wedding party got up and said something sweet about the bride and groom. It was such a nice dinner!

The entire wedding party headed up to Northgate afterwards to hang out. Here we are at our all time favorite hangout - Corner Bar, where Jill and Matt first met, enjoying their famous Texas Teas!!

We got an early start Saturday morning, heading into College Station for Pedicures and Poinsettias (her friend Abby and her mom threw this shower for Jill and her wedding party). Yummy food!

The boys went bowling and ate at Wings-n-More, mine and Wes' favorite, so Wes was sweet enough to bring Jill and I some after we got our hair done!

 haha, puppy dog!
We went back to Jill's parents house to get our make-up done and then it was off to the church! Here are a few shots of the bride and her bridesmaids.

The ceremony was so sweet. they had a little children's choir ringing hand bells! Then, it was off to the reception at the newly finished Traditions Clubhouse! Everything was perfect. The food was yummy, there was a fun photobooth, and the band was awesome. Matt even got up front and rapped Wanna be a Balla.

And to make the weekend even more perfect, my other two best friends, Sarah and Kir, were there to celebrate!
The wedding was a blast and was rounded out with a little after party and dance contest. On Sunday, we met Jill and Matt and a few friends at La Bodega, again, and enjoyed good food and lots of laughs! It really was a perfect weekend. We were sad it was over having to get back to reality, but definitely missed our little man!
