He’s completely over baby food, although, he can be a little
picky when it comes to table food. It kind of depends on who is feeding him.
For Wes and our nanny, he will eat just about anything. With me, he will reject
most things. Some new foods he has tried this month include: ham and cheese,
lasagna, hot dogs (complete with relish and ketchup), sausage and eggs,
Nutrigrain bars, and chicken spaghetti. He still loves bread, bananas,
strawberries, yogurt, veggie sticks and anything he can hold. He is starting to
be a little less interested in formula, so I think I am going to start
transitioning him onto whole milk over the next 3-4 weeks. He takes 5 bottles
over the course of the day, but many times, he will only eat 4-5 oz. at a time.
He is finally starting to drink water here and there, but out of a bottle – not
a sippy cup.
He’s been a great sleeper these days. He goes to bed around
8:30 pm and usually doesn’t get up until 7:30-8:30 am. He’s definitely down to
two naps a day which makes life a lot easier. He takes a mid-morning nap around
10:30-11 for 1.5-2 hours and then again around 2:30-3 for another 1.5-2 hours
usually. Most days, if he gets fussy in the evenings, we put him in his crib
with some toys and he will just play by himself for 30-45 minutes.

Memorial Day shenanigans. I'm jealous of Charlie's perfect posture
He’s been a trooper through all of Ryan’s t-ball games and
swim meets over the past few weeks; though at times, it has not been easy. I think it's forced him into being very adaptable!
I took the boys to see my grandmother, MaMaw, a few weeks ago and they had such a fun time. Funny how a place with no toys or things to do, they can find ways to entertain themselves.
He still loves his bathtime and even when he gets super fussy from about 6:30-7:30, the bath can all of a sudden snap him right out of a bad mood. He definitely gets his second wind.
He currently has 4 teeth that are all the way in. He wears size 4 diapers and 12 months clothes (a few 18 month things here and there). He is long and lean for sure - weighing in right now at about 21 lbs. 4 oz.
Here are a few pics from his 11 month photo session. I couldn't keep him in the rocking chair for long as he was continually trying to leap forward, out of the chair.
