We've had a fun and busy start to the school year this fall. Ryan's school kicked off the year with their Booster-thon fun run to raise money for their school!

One of Wes' co-workers gave him tickets to a University of South Alabama football game. They were actually playing Oklahoma State, which is a very good team this year. It was fun to experience Friday Night lights in a small town.

Bradley was on the lookout for the mascots the ENTIRE time. With the help of some of the other fans, we were finally able to spot them.
Ryan was in a mood a good portion of the game, so Charlie was messing with him. He finally perked up once they went out for snacks.
Bradley was very intent on watching the game and trying to understand what was happening.
The boys had a birthday party up in Bay Minette the following day at their municipal pool which was a really cool facility. Fun to see all of his friends after the summer!

We've spent a couple of weekend days this past month up at the ballpark letting the boys practice some. They've had a blast doing it.
Bradley is nothing if not determined when it comes to baseball. He wants to be the best and is very open to critique and learning how to do things. He asked me how he gets to sign up to play for the Astros. I had to explain to him that it doesn't work that way, but now he has his eye on the prize, and wants to work toward that goal.

Charlie wanted a turn on the tee. He usually isn't too interested in playing sports with the boys. He likes to drive his trucks around in the dirt or just watch, but this particular day, he wanted to be included.

They love for me to take pictures of their MagnaTile creations, it just doesn't get old with them.
The boys' preschool had a petting zoo come a few weeks ago. I for sure thought my boys would have NO interest in any of it, but much to my surprise, they actually participated!

Bradley's class was up next.
He took the 2 finger petting tip very seriously. It was hilarious. He put on a brave face and embraced his fears!
The kids became very obsessed with the pooping and Bradley ended up getting a very up close and personal experience with it!
One by one, his classmates let the chicken perch on their hats. It was pretty hilarious.
They had a great time and talked about it for days. When it was time for me to leave, Charlie's class was playing on the playground. I caught him sitting on the step giving me the death stare. He later told me he was mad at me for not telling him bye.
A fun day on the farm for all!
Halloween costumes arrived early and the kids had to try them on. They fit their personalities perfectly. Rocky from Paw Patrol, a vampire, and a werewolf. Charlie was absolutely terrified of Bradley at first, then he warmed up by trying to go up and hug him, then peek under the mask. Watching his progression of accepting that it was just B was so funny.
Ryan filled this out at school for Open House and I thought it was pretty funny.
The boys started fall ball in September and their games just started two weeks ago. Bradley was pretty pumped!
