We kicked off Christmas break with the boys' TNT swim holiday party at Hot Wheels. Bradley and his buddy, Jade, were too cute taking laps around the rink.
Ryan's a pro these days after going once a month for skate day!
They had dinner then did a white elephant gift exchange. Of course, my kids came home with the candy! That Saturday morning, we had planned a breakfast with Santa down at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear. I booked it kind of late, so we had to take the earliest reservation at 7 am! It was an early morning for us all. It started off with a bang as Charlie took one sip of water and started gagging. He proceeded to throw up in a coffee mug.
Toasting to Christmas break!
Charlie wanted in on the action as well.
And last but not least, can't forget Buzz!
Apparently this display is much more impressive on a normal year. We went on a year while they were doing renovations to the main dining room, so we were in a banquet hall.
Family pic out by the bay
B started to pretend he was Santa and had everyone sit on his lap to tell them what they wanted for Christmas. It was absolutely hilarious.
He was saying, "now what would you like for Christmas young man?!?"
"Have you been a good little boy this year?!?"
Mom's turn
The boys ended up doing great! Charlie was about 50/50 if he was going to see Santa or not. He went back and forth, asking so many questions, staring at him in line, talking about logistics of how he would stand if he went up there. Once we made it to the front of the line, he decided he would give it a go, and I'm so glad he did!
The sweetest!
Just a little afternoon dance party
Ryan started basketball this winter and has done pretty well so far. He loves playing with some of his good buddies, so that's made it a lot of fun.
His cheering section!
That night we got together with a bunch of friends and went to the Christmas Duck Boat tour in Downtown Mobile. We went to dinner then headed downtown to board the boat. Ryan's good buddy, Mason, came too and Ryan was so excited. They played Christmas carols while we rode around which quickly turned into old school rap as the kids were getting bored with Christmas songs. It turned into a full on dance party. We joked that it seemed like we were sitting back watching what would be like a junior high dance in a few years!
B wasn't feeling great, but insisted on coming still and was such a trooper.
My bus buddy
Ryan was too cool to sit in the back with his parents :)
The kids got these awesome (read: extremely loud and annoying) duck whistles

Sweet little duckling
Downtown Mobile
After riding around in the bay for a bit, we came out of the water and rode around downtown. We saw Santa's sleigh in one of the Mardi Gras barns which was really neat.
The whole gang
The boys hanging out after the boat rideLove playing with the portrait mode on my phone! Here are the kids on a lazy weekend morning.
Found this selfie on my phone. Buzz was under the weather the next day as you can tell, but that didn't stop him from taking pics!
A bunch of us took the kids to see The Star while on break. The kids had a blast, ate way too much junk food, and enjoyed the cute movie.
After the show
My 2017 ornament for the tree
We had some friends over before Christmas for dinner and to let the kids just run wild and play. Since, we weren't having family around this year, we still wanted to have some sort of get together. So, I made a Rum Cake and Wes made Prime Rib!
Lots of boys! I think 7 boys and 1 sweet little girl!
Love these ladies and all the fun we've had together with our kids and sports over the past 6 months.
Lots of fun with this crew!
Merry Christmas - from the Mocks! Next up B's birthday celebration in Orange Beach.
