End of School!

As the school year was winding down, we were busier than ever with picnics, awards programs, and parties! Here's my baby turned young man in a mere 9 months!
One of the little boys from one of the 4k classes had the most adorable shirts made for all of the graduating 4 year olds .
SFUMP Class of 2018!
Charlie had to hop in for a pic

"I Conquered the Hill!"
So sweet and precious

Last day with Mrs. Melissa
Charlie loved Mrs. Miranda and even at the beginning of this school year was hoping to go back to her class. He, however, did not enjoy having to write his name everyday so was hoping his new teacher wouldn't make him do that. Hated to break it to him, but that's just the beginning, son!

At the SFE's silent auction, we bid for Ryan to be Teacher for a Day in Mrs. Armstrong's class. He got to be out of uniform and dress like a teacher.
Mrs. Armstrong let him plan ahead a bit and pick out some things he wanted to do with the class. He got to pick assistants for the day, what games to play, learning activities to do, etc.
He even got to go to the teacher's lounge and buy snacks from the vending machine. He loved it so much he asked her the next day if he could be teacher again! He and Noah before lunch as they were both teachers.
A few pieces of the little's artwork from the end of the year.
A portrait of B. It was pretty easy to pick out which one was his from the entire class because of his sweet waves!

Charlie trying to follow in his brother's footsteps but with his own twist on a sugary career!
The elementary does awards day for each grade, individually.
They call out each award and then all of the kids who received that award stand up.
Ryan raked in this year!
Lining up to accept his awards and shake his teacher's hand!
Love that sweet, subtle smile

My big 8 year old! Having his 2nd grade snack with all of his friends before heading home for summer break.

So proud of the young man he is becoming!

Thankful for such a wonderful year with Mrs. Armstrong

Documenting his awards. He received Straight A's, Student of the Week, Academic Excellence in English, Academic Excellence in Spelling, Accelerated Reader given to the top 5 in the grade, Rocking Reader, and the Superintendent's Physical Fitness award.
He was clearly proud!

being silly!

Just wanted to document the broken window that we were pretty certain was a result from a foul tip from Ryan off of the pitching machine!
After the last day of school, we all headed to the splash pad/park to celebrate a great school year with friends, pizza, and a water balloon fight!

Ryan flirting with his friends.....

Charlie hopped right in there with the big kids!
They got Ryan!

Testing their feats of strength

Taking a pizza break

Bradley, sitting with the ladies, of course!

Such a fun way to end the school year with friends!
