Christmas 2018 - Part 1

We kicked off Christmas with another parade, but this time in Mobile. There was a bowl game on Christmas Eve, so there was a full blown parade the night before to welcome all of the out of town guests. We had dinner in Mobile with the Bass' then headed over to set-up for the parade.
Getting excited for the BOOM BOOM!
It was actually pretty chilly for probably the first time this winter.

love her!

Here it comes!!!

Of course he would catch a trumpet!
Santa's sleigh was empty by the time it made it to us...hmmmm
Guess he was already getting set-up in the park
So fun! We got to just walk right up and sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
 Ryan and his loot
The whole gang. Not sure why Ryan and B looked like they were having their mugshots taken.
My sweet baby
 happy again
 Christmas Eve morning!
 sleepyhead
Wanted a few more shots around the tree before the chaos ensued over the next 24 hours!
We had a really nice Christmas Eve. After lunch, we went and saw Mary Poppins Returns which was so cute, and then we headed home to change for church.
Happy boys

Quick family shot after church since we wouldn't have anyone to take a pic of us on Christmas day!

We've started a tradition over the past few years of the boys opening their gifts from us when we get home from church. They were very impatient and excited! I think we actually started with GiGi's because the Mock crew was altogether in Sugarland, so we FaceTimed so we could all see each other!
 Round 1 aftermath
We then moved on to our gifts

Charlie was pretty pumped for his new scooter. He had recently left it behind the back wheel of my car and of course one morning, it bit the dust when my car took it out.
He was actually pretty excited even though it was the exact same one as before. Since it was "clean" he was able to ride it around the house which he thought was really cool.
Our traditional annual puzzle of pictures from the past year. We started this in 2017 and I hope to make one every year for them.
This may not look like much, but Buzz was PUMPED. It was an assortment of scissors that cuts in all different shapes and lines. They were all so excited to have these for their classroom.

Ryan's gifts clearly aren't as exciting, but he was pretty excited over this one!

We had a wonderful day together and finally got the kids in bed to gear up for another full day!
