Christmas morning was exciting as always. I like to snap a few pics before the chaos ensues. The boys were informed the night before that Christmas would not begin until after 7 am and they were really good about complying. I think we set our alarms for 7:15, went and made some coffee, then rounded up the troops! Those 20-30 minutes of them waiting was brutal, I'm sure!
Charlie's loot
Bradley's stuff
and Ryan's stash
Obligatory shot of them at the top of the stairs, bedhead and all!
Love their excitement and innocence
I love to video them running down the stairs and their initial reactions
Why Charlie goes straight to his stocking is beyond me!
I don't think I got a video of this, but Ryan was opening his big gift.
A new iPad!! He's had an old one for quite a few years now and has definitely been overdue.
Loved seeing how excited he was when opening it.
The camera he begged and begged for.
The one game he asked for, so he was pretty pumped.
He wanted a pillow pet thingy for his iPad on road trips.
B opening one of his big gifts.
Charlie had some very specific requests for Christmas this year. It wasn't a whole lot, but he was consistent from the get go. He wanted a new basketball goal that was his size, a pirate ship, some treasure and some maps. Here he is opening one of those!
The aftermath, again.
Putting that new camera to use!
Getting ready to open Aunt Alissa and Uncle Scoot's gifts.
So, they've received a "family" gift as Ryan calls it the past few years maybe, and have enjoyed having something they can do together. This year, they were totally surprised with a foosball table.
They have really enjoyed having it and have gotten so good at it.
Buzz is probably the best player in the house now.
Definitely not bad for his first try. He gave it a good first shot. He decided he wasn't quite ready to do this yet, but hopefully again soon.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Wes cooked an amazing dinner that evening and we just enjoyed our day with our little family of 5! The next day, we busted out the sno-cone machine for its inaugural debut.
He had been waiting all week to make one and already has big plans for the summer with it.
Mmm mmm good!
Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas (only 4 months late, haha!)
