Fun start to the holidays

We had to reschedule the elementary school's Boosterthon fundraiser due to bad weather back in November, so we had it a few days back after the break. The weather was gorgeous. Wes attended Ryan's and I came to Bradley's. B had set himself a goal beforehand which was to straight up win Boosterthon, if there is such a thing. There isn't, but technically, someone does complete their 35 laps first. Here are all the Kinder classes lined up to race.
They make them walk the first lap as a warm-up lap
and then, they are off!

He was serious, to say the least.
They did force one water break, but other than that I think he only stopped once for water.

We cracked up over this picture. B and one of his best friends, P. B was in it to win it and P was there for social hour.

Well, he set his mind to win and win he did. He was in fact the first to finish from what we all could tell.
  So proud of his determination!

Not sure what was happening here, but obviously a rare moment to be sleeping during waking hours!
We had our first swim meet of the season the first weekend of December down in Gulf Shores.
The boys did really well as they hadn't competed since late July.

His dive is getting really good!

We went from swim meet to basketball game all in the same day. It was Ryan's first game of the season.
Hometown, represent!

Day 2! We let B stay home as it was mostly 50's and he was beat.
One of Ryan's top 3 races of his season. Something about this race was unlike any other he did the whole year. He even qualified for a BB time for 9-10 boys.
Showing off their new sweet Christmas PJs care of Juniper Lily!

Fall school pics have arrived and they were all really cute.

Documenting Ryan's first skate day bringing his roller blades.
Like a pro!

Getting checked out early to head to Chick-fil-a
We hit up the Christmas parade in Daphne this year. It's like a preview to the Mardi Gras parades and we all ate dinner and hung out in front of Juniper Lily and had a great time.

The kids loved collecting their loot and kicking off the holiday season!
