So they are kind of all over the place, but he's growing so that is all that matters! Here are a few things about our boy:
*He eats about every 4 hours, but I know he can go longer. He has gone about 5-5.5 hours between feedings multiple times. Of course he chooses to only go 3 hours or so at night quite a few times!
*He sleeps pretty well except for the fact that he prefers noise, chaos, & lights to the dark and silence. So, he sleeps much better in our living room than our bedroom (I will be ordering a white noise machine today).
*He also prefers to be held when he sleeps. He will sleep MUCH longer if someone is holding him as opposed to his little bed. He does seem to enjoy his swing as well and will sleep pretty good in there, too.
*He loves to eat, but is an extremely slow starter. He will just sit there, look around, and then get really frustrated before he finally decides to get down to business.
*Right now he is probably only awake for about 2-3 hours a day when he is not eating or sleeping.
*He grunts and snores like a 90 year old man. It is insane! Way more than I ever can remember Ryan doing.
*Only seems to get upset when his tummy hurts; hope we can work this out and that he will continue to be a calm baby. He will calm down if when lay him on his tummy on our chest.
*He has started looking around more. I think he can tell my voice and will turn to me when I talk. We also think he can tell when we leave the room and he is alone because every time we leave, he is crying within 1 minute.
*His hair is turning more of a light brown now with a SWEET receding hairline (just like Ryan and daddy)
Sarah, Heath, and Henry came to visit and by complete coincidence, they were dressed exactly the same (great minds think alike!!). This was the best pic I could capture of the two of them. Bradley wasn't cooperating too well.
All of my boys :)
Sweet brothers. Ryan has been wonderful with him. Sometimes he is not that interested, but when he is, he is just so sweet. He gets concerned when he cries and will try to rock his bassinet or pat his head. He will randomly just come up to him and kiss him on the forehead. And he is always talking about his "brudder" and asking to hold him. He really has adjusted better than expected; I just hope this trend continues.
On his way to his first doctor's appointment. Wes was father of the year and took both boys with him in the freezing weather. Ryan loves going to the doctor's office because he gets a plastic dinosaur as well as a cherry tongue depressor to lick.
hello world
so talented already! Haha, but he seriously does already love the pacifier and will really try hard to keep it in his mouth.
Our first night out. Bradley was a week old and my parents were going to watch both boys. Randomly, Nancy and Manuel had a babysitter on the same night, so we all planned to go to La Griglia for a yummy dinner. I was getting dressed while my mom watched Ryan, and Wes walks in from the grocery store to find almost an inch of water in our breakfast room, kitchen, and flowing into our dining room. Our washing machine had gone out and overflowed! We all quickly found every single towel, washcloth, hand-towel in the house to start mopping up the mess. Wes thinks it was at least 20 gallons of water. Luckily, we don't have too much damage. Some of our wood is a little warped and it did mess up the corners of our new kitchen cabinets ever so slightly. Oh, and we did have to buy a new washer, but it could have been much worse, especially if this happened while only 1 person was home. 2 hours later, the mess was cleaned up and we were on our way to delicious pizza bread and lemon drops :) Definitely a story we will remember for years to come. After his first sponge bath. He hates being cold, but I think the warm water really relaxes him, not to mention tires him out!
cutie pie
