The morning started out great, the weather was perfect, B had a good nap, and then a little while before we were planning to leave, he face planted into our entertainment center. I mentioned in a previous post that he had a nice bruise that made him look like the joker, so we had to position him in pics so that it wouldn't show up. He did well getting dressed and taking pics beforehand, but things definitely changed once the service started. He was baptized with two other babies and was the second one in line. As everyone started clapping for the first baby, he just lost it. It really scared him and he could just not calm down. So, all throughout his baptism, he just screamed. Of course, the congregation laughed because it was quite humorous. I just felt bad for the last baby because he could not stop crying, so I don't think anyone could hear a word the pastor said. Fun fact, one of the families had taken a trip to Israel and brought back water from the River of Jordan, which was used in the ceremony for all of the babies. B somewhat calmed down once we got back to our seats, but it only lasted for a few short minutes. Wes ended up sitting out in the parlor with him for the majority of the service where he spit up his bottle all over himself and Wes. Oh well, at least he was in a decent enough mood to snap a few pics afterwards.
B and his godparents, Jon and Alissa.
We had our families over for lunch after to celebrate. Unfortunately, the guest of honor did not make it to much of the party as he was just pooped out, so we ate and watched football without him! It was a special day for lil B. We sure do love you :)
