Christmas Eve 2014

This Christmas Eve was slightly different than years past. Since my parents just moved in and were already hosting Christmas dinner and Wes had to work, I invited my family over for lunch and some cookie decorating. We had a traditional Christmas Mexican lunch from Jimmy Changas :) but it was delicious and then we iced cookies for Santa afterward.
Ryan seemed to enjoy licking all of the icing off his fingers rather than actually decorating the cookies, but who can blame him.

The finished products (our red turned out a little more pink!)
After the little ones napped and Wes got home, we packed up and headed to GiGi's house in Sugarland for Christmas Eve dinner and celebrations. Charlie was getting a lot of loving from all of his aunts. My only child who has no say (yet!) in how many pics I take of him!

B was a snotty mess in the thick of his cold, but he didn't let it hold him down.
Ryan and Aunt Megan were playing in the sweet Tepee that she and Jon got the boys for Christmas
The boys playing a little bean bag.

GiGi got Ryan a new big boy bike and B a plasma car. They were both pretty pumped and had to ride them right away.

She also varnished some patio chairs for the kids to use on our new deck. B kept trying them both out to see which one he liked best.

Then it was time for the big kids to open gifts.

B taking a break from opening gifts and lounging on his new pillow for the deck chair.
Ryan took it upon himself to open not only his, but Bradley's and Charlie's gifts as well.

Christina reading to the boys; however, I think Charlie was more interested in what Jon was doing.
This was best family pic we got of the entire two days :( Maybe next year we can get at least 2 of the 3 boys to look at the camera. They were pretty worn out by this point in the evening.

After a late night of eating and gift opening, we headed home to get the boys bathed and ready for Santa to come. We let Ryan stay up a little later than normal so he could help get the cookies ready and read the Polar Express.

Once we finally go them all down for bed, it was time for Santa's elves to get to work! Next up, Christmas day.
