Easter 2019

We ended Spring Break with Easter and the boys were pretty excited about it. It's not quite like Christmas, but definitely something they were looking forward to for a few weeks.
Up and at 'em pretty early. I told them we would not be getting them before 7:30 and right about 7 we heard them loud and clear! Lots of bedhead going on.

Straight to the chocolate.
 Checking out their loot

Not too many occasions to have chocolate before breakfast, but you only live once, right?!!?
Checking to see if the bunny ate his carrots
Some big boy books for the new reader in our family.
Maybe their favorite treat in their basket, the twirling ribbons!!
 Trying on his new suit
They were all trying to master the art of rhythmic gymnastics, ha!
Not too shabby for a first timer.

 a team performance
It was seriously so funny watching them get so into it and trying to perfect their skills!
Time for the fun part, the egg hunt!
 ....and, they're off!

Charlie was just about the only one I could snap a few pictures of because the other too were so fast.

 Loading up!
Found one of the bunny's secret hiding spots.

Finally got a pic or two once they finished.

 "Look, the golden egg!"

 Sweet brothers

After a quick 8 minute hunt to gather over 100 eggs, they came inside for their favorite part, the sorting of the candy and counting of the money!
Organize a few, eat a few, repeat!

 Candy assorted, mission complete!
It was time to get dressed, brush out the bedhead, and head to church.

Had to try and snap a few pics before we left, just in case!

 Happy Easter from the Mocks!
After church, we headed to brunch at Buster's with some friends and capped off the day with a nice nap!!
