Recovering the day after the bug
Bradley is back to his normal self wreaking havoc wherever he goes. He has become a little daredevil and loves to jump on Ryan's mattress, on the bed, on the couch, wherever he can bounce. He has no concept of pain or consequences, so I have to watch him like a hawk. He is also really into hitting Ryan with whatever he can get his hands on. He beats him with the telephone, the baby monitor, books, etc. Poor Ryan! He is also becoming quite the little Houdini. He loves, loves, loves to go shut himself in dark closets all over our house. And also make his little fist and knock. Case in point, Easter Sunday we were at my parents and half of us were inside and the other half outside. B was with me, my brother, and my mom inside and I turned my head for two seconds and he had disappeared. He was basically gated in the kitchen/living room and I was 99.9% sure he couldn't have escaped out the backdoor, but my heart dropped not knowing what he could have done or where he could have gone. I was running through the house, my mom outside and finally, she thought to look in the pantry and lo and behold, there the little stinker was sitting on the floor in the dark. This kid is going to give me a heart attack. Just not much scares hum.

As far as eating goes, we are just seeing strides in the past 72 hours. After the stomach bug, he totally reverted back to horrible habits. It was painful, but now, he is starting to like some more table foods. He loves water and loves to drink from straws. We have gotten him to eat a PB&J 2-3 times this week, he ate some of my pizza last night with pineapple and sausage on it, and of course is loving pancakes, cinnamon rolls, toast, french fries, chips, Cheerios, etc. He's also back on the lasagna train. We have a ways to go and need to work on fruits and veggies, but at least there is hope. When we put him in his high chair now, he loves to pull the tray closed and thinks it is so funny. We've also gotten him off the bottle and onto the transition cups for milk.
We love the Crisp patio and he loves water
Unsure about his PB&J
Loves this chair at CoCo's house
The kid loves to play. He BEGS to go outside all hours of the day, trying to turn the door knob or pointing and screaming at the back windows. He loves to clean things, especially faces. He'll get a wipe or napkin and try to clean everyone's faces. He also loves to put trash in the trashcan or more often than not, in his diaper pail as well as putting clothes in the hamper. He is really enjoying reading books as well. He will go get books, bring them to you, turn around, and scoot his lil butt into your lap to read to him. He's learned where his belly button is and thinks its funny to press it (since it's an outtie at the moment).
Monday was a school holiday, so CoCo came with us to WonderWild and the boys had a blast!
He is still really into tech toys, so I had to password protect even my iPad now.
Here's his infamous "cheese face" as I like to call it. If you say make your cheese face, this is what you get. I love it!| Thinks he is such a big boy, trying to get water in his cup |
The kid knows how to throw a tantrum already. He stomps his feet, makes his hand into fists, and screams until he gets his way. It's horrible. He has definitely got a temper that we need to get under control in the next few months. He is also extremely independent and loves to just roam the house by himself getting into anything and everything.
I think a few new words this month include: more, baba (for his cup of milk), ah-ight (light - sorta), and puter (computer). He will also hold my hand sometimes when we are walking somewhere, and I love it! He also loves to laugh and just try and make you laugh. Has a great sense of humor and not much phases him. He's a rough and tough boy and makes our life verrrry interesting!!
