This post is a little over due, but we had a fun few days over Spring Break. Wes took two days off of work, and even though the weather was disgusting, we made the most of it. Monday, we took the boys to Main Event to go bowling. This was both of their first times to bowl and they had a blast. Bradley insisted on carrying the bowling ball himself and not just the 6 lb. ball, the 8 lb. ball as well. We were both extremely surprised that neither of the boys dropped a ball on their toes or got their fingers squished in the ball return.
Both he and Ryan would watch intently as they rolled the ball to see where it would go and how many pins they would knock down. It was pretty cute how into they were, especially Bradley. He had the time of his life.
We then realized there was the little slide they could use to help guide the ball. It made things quite a bit easier. They would both try and steal mine and Wes' turns, they just couldn't get enough,
They had such a good time snacking and drinking their lemonade, they were not ready to leave. When we asked them what they wanted to do Tuesday, B was quick to let us know he wanted to bowl again. The next day, we took the boys to play Top Golf, against their wishes. Although, I would say they had a change of heart once we got there. It wasn't too crowded, so we were able to take up more than just our bay. Ryan and B had the process down. They knew to try and get out as many golf balls as they could and then take them over to the empty bays to play. Win-win for all of us. B really seems to like golf. He now finds any sort of stick or baseball bat lying around and hits any ball he can find like it's a golf club.
All of my sweet boys, love them so much. This pic wasn't even planned. I was the one hitting and turned around to see them all hanging out like this.
After we played, we went over to Lupe's for a late lunch. The boys had eaten already, so they were treated to some Sopapillas and playing in the sandbox. Ryan was filling up shovels and sand toys with sand in hopes the birds would try and come eat them as a trick. I would say they had a pretty good two days with dad.
The rest of our week was pretty fun as well. I took the boys to see my grandma one day, Ryan and Bradley had a sleepover at CoCo and Poppy's one night and mom and dad got to remember what it was like to only have one kid to feed, bathe, etc for a night! The week was a pretty fun staycation!
