Halloween 2018

The week of Halloween was a fun, but busy one. Kindergarten had a Scarecrow parade and they were adorable. Here's Mrs. Gipson's sweet class.

We went to some of our good friend's annual Halloween party dressed as Offred and Commander Waterford from the Handmaid's Tale

 Halloween wouldn't be complete without some pumpkin carving.

 The kids wanted to get their hands dirty as well.

 Charlie had his Halloween party as well. He opted to create his own costume for their party as his others weren't cutting it. His camo vest and superhero cape was his choice and he rocked it.

 They had a little song and dance for us to kick things off.

 This kid is so strong-minded and knows exactly what he wants. I hope he continues to stay this way forever.

 Halloween night we got started early so we could get a few pics before it got dark outside.

 Every time I saw him in this skeleton costume, I cracked up laughing.

 He was ready to go and start collecting his treats!

 We took the golf cart around the whole time this year. We let them hop in whenever they got tired or just rode alongside them as they went from house to house. It helped tremendously and they were able to make it about twice as long as last year.

Ran into some of Ryan's buddies along the way! 

Ran into one of our neighbors who dressed up as Pennywise. It was something. The kids were pretty taken aback at first. After not knowing what to do, he took off his mask to assure them it was okay.

Bradley then decided it was okay to go up and see him to take a pic!

One of their favorite stops is one of the 3rd grade teacher's houses, Mrs. Walden. She goes all out and makes them take the trick to earn their treat. It's hilarious!

 Ultimately, all 3 boys took the trick so they could earn bigger candy bars and sour punch straws!

We hit up about 75% of the hood this year, but that was plenty as you're about to see!

The kids raked in a TON of loot! 

About 5 seconds into checking it all out, began the sorting process. I think they love this more than the actual candy itself.

They love to see just how much they got of each type of candy. They are definitely the children of an accountant and an engineer!

They had the best Halloween and immediately were already looking forward to next year.

 We let them leave it out for a day before having to bag it all up.
