We started off the month going to see another theatrical performance from the Eastern Shore Rep group. They performed Mary Poppins, Jr. and it was just precious.
It got them prepared for the new movie that came out a few weeks later, and we always have the best time going to see these musicals.
B wanted a selfie one day, I suppose!?!
Our good friends little boy, Robert Edward, had his birthday party at the Five Rivers center where we did a river cruise looking at wildlife and watching the sunset.
The kids had a blast and it was such a neat idea for a birthday party.

Skate day would not be complete without some friends and spending $10 in tokens to cash the tickets in for a $1 prize.
We had skate day on a Friday and the next day had two birthday parties at the skating rink. Needless to say, the boys improved their skating abilities tenfold in about 24 hours.
A little hokey pokey action
My kids love to find their way to the birthday child at any party. Barrett, however, is Bradley's best friend at school and they are just thick as thieves.
After all of that skating, Ryan decided it was time to break in his inline skates. He picked it up so quickly and hasn't looked back since. He loves rollerblading and now brings them to all of the skate days.

My running buddy, Joanna, ran the Battleship 12k with me the weekend of Veteran's Day. You start running in Spanish Fort and it's a solid 7.65 miles straight down the causeway to the Battleship.
It was really a special run, seeing all of the vets participating and running into the finish line at the Battleship. For the record, I had never run this much before, ever and only had run over 4 miles about 3 times leading up to this.
We did so well and ran the whole thing. I think our final pace came to 8:40/mile.
I will say my legs were DEAD for about 24-48 hours following the race, haha!
We went with our families afterward and had a fun brunch at FIVE and then continued the celebration at Moe's BBQ in Mobile. Such a fun day!
Since we have moved to AL, I put up all of our Christmas decor earlier than normal, since we have spent Thanksgiving break in Texas. We get to enjoy it longer and then it's done when we return home at the end of the month.
Charlie was a BIG help this year doing just about whatever I would let him do. It was really sweet.
B informed me one day that tying your sweater or jacket around your waist was what all the cool kids were doing, and he walked around the house like this for weeks.
